We offer a high-accountability, high-autonomy program with a focus on personal, professional, and academic excellence. Our program is especially well-suited to teenagers who are ready to take responsibility for their own learning, and are purpose-driven, entrepreneurial, unconventional, or intellectually curious.
Students who are a good match for our program will spend their high school years engaging in an enjoyable, intense, and thorough preparation for the life they choose to pursue. Our admissions process is designed for you to get to know us while we get to know you, so that we can mutually determine whether ATI is a good fit for you.
Please find a detailed outline of our admissions process below. We look forward to getting to know you!
Because our program is tailored to each individual student, mid-year transfers who are a good fit for ATI can work very well. Students interested in transferring to ATI should contact the school and complete our online admissions application.
We are admitting students on a rolling basis for the 2019-2020 school year at the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade levels as well as a few mature 8th grade students who are ready for this opportunity. After submitting a complete application, you should receive an admissions decision within two weeks. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible as seats for the 2019-2020 school year are limited.
The most important selection criteria in our admissions process is suitability for our environment. Our admissions process focuses on getting to know the applicant’s interests, goals, and values. We ask for letters of recommendation and a transcript to understand each student’s previous educational experience but do not require standardized test scores such as the SSAT.
Tuition reflects each ATI campus's geography. To request a current rate sheet, please contact your campus of interest.
We offer financial aid based on demonstrated family need. To apply for financial aid, visit the website of our service partner, FAST.
In the right learning environment, high school students are capable of much more than conventional education permits them to achieve. Teens that choose ATI are ready for responsibility and able to take ownership over their own education in a way that the control mechanisms of typical schooling make virtually impossible.
If the average high school experience just doesn't inspire your teen, consider the Academy of Thought and Industry. We're looking forward to connecting with you and answering all of your questions.
