Lilia was twelve years old in her first year of high school at ATI. She took courses to prepare for the Advanced Placement (AP) World History exam and the AP Chemistry exam. While she did not earn college credit for Chemistry, she did obtain a score of 4 out of a possible 5 on her World History exam, making her eligible for college credit at most universities in the U.S.
At the same time, while doing college level academic work, Lilia led an entrepreneurial project in which she and her team manufactured a math game for Montessori classrooms, earning them about $600 gross. She also did an independent research project on carbon taxes and led the ATI after-school community service club.
Lilia had been homeschooled for most of her life prior to ATI and has readily adapted to our environment. Meet Lilia.
