We want our admissions process to be simple, friendly, purposeful and collaborative. We’ve laid out the key aspects of our admissions process below to make it easy for you to see each step along the way.
For our inaugural 2020-21 school year, we welcome all students in grades 6-8, and are especially eager to welcome 6th graders to our community.
There are 3 key steps in our admissions process.
Step 1 – Learn about ATI by attending one or more of our events this fall.
Step 2 – Consider a Shadow Day at our East Village campus to experience a day in the life of ATI.
Step 3 – Submit your application to ATI, which includes financial aid if necessary.

As a first step, we’d love to meet you!
We have a range of opportunities for interested families and students to learn about ATI, talk to our staff, and begin the admissions process.
Book a Tour. We offer tours Mondays (between 9 AM – 11 AM) and Wednesdays (between 9 AM – 11 AM). Tours are approximately 30 minutes long, and are an opportunity to talk to staff, visit a class, and answer questions. Space is limited. Please sign up here to secure a space on an upcoming tour.
Sign Up for a Shadow Day (strongly recommended)
Once we’ve had a chance to meet and you’re ready to learn more about the ATI experience, we highly encourage, but do not require, students to sign up to attend a Shadow Day at ATI East Village, our other Manhattan campus. Our shadow day allows prospective students to have an authentic day-in-the-life experience of our school, to connect with current students and staff, and to engage in our learning community. We welcome students and provide support and check-ins throughout the day to make sure they have what they need to feel comfortable and engaged.

Our application for 2020-21 will be available September 21, 2019.
We partner with TADS to manage your application in one convenient place.
Here's what to expect in TADS:
Parents will be asked to share contact information.
Students will be asked to answer a set of application questions so we can get to know them better.
Students will be asked to provide current transcripts.
Students will be asked to provide 2 letters of recommendation from adults who know your student well.
If your family is applying for financial aid, you will be asked to submit appropriate financial information in FAST.
All applications should be submitted no later than January 9, 2020.

Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition at ATI Museum Mile is $43,000 for the 2020-21 school year.
We offer generous financial aid based on demonstrated need and would like to partner with you to help you afford ATI. Approximately 66% of our ATI Museum Mile families receive financial aid.
Our financial aid decisions are made independent of admissions decisions.

Transfer to ATI
If you are in 6th, 7th or 8th grade and interested in transferring to ATI in the current 2019-20 school year, please complete our interest form, and you will be contacted within 48 hours to have an initial conversation.
The transfer process requires an initial phone or in-person conversation to get to know each other, a completed application, a shadow day visit and interview, and a completed financial aid application (if needed).
We have limited spaces available through the first semester so we encourage you to contact us via our interest form as a first step as soon as possible.
